Our Service Projects

For our Service Projects, we help out the food pantry at the Church we meet at and other places in the community such as the Waterman Center and the Tioga Terrace Civic Association. COVID did not slow us down in our community service! Once regulations were loosened enough to do something in-person, our first in-person activity was a two-phase food drive on May 30 and June 6 of 2020. And we have been able to continue supporting Apalachin with two food drives a year!

We also have Scouts who carry out Eagle Service projects to make a lasting difference in the community. Recent projects have included building picnic tables for the Apalachin Library (led by Austin), reflooring a room at the Waterman Center in Apalachin (led by Ryan), building bat houses for Greenwood Park (led by Julian), building a bridge for an upcoming Water Ecosystems Exhibit at Waterman (led by Ean), and more!
